ABOUT OUR PRIVATE RANCH
Our private ranch is a truly unique holiday destination and the perfect place to immerse your family and friends in a once in a lifetime holiday adventure. Accommodation in the Guesthouse is located just steps away from a working polo farm, where older children and adults alike can learn to ride, play polo or go on hacks through rivers and the local countryside. The nearby resort of Sotogrande offers country chic meets cosmopolitan experiences, from the El Mercando de Levante flea market and the pristine boutiques to the local Marina, exclusive beach clubs and various championship golf courses.
Our Guesthouse is situated within the beautiful grounds of the ranch and sleeps up to eight people in comfortable en-suite bedrooms, with a private swimming pool and fabulous dining terrace elegantly set within relaxing gardens. Best of all, the Guesthouse is expertly run by two local cooks who serve up delicious Spanish cuisine such as gazpacho, tortilla, paella, colourful fresh salads and special Argentinian-style Asado BBQ. Together with the on-site concierge team, they take care of all your requirements throughout your stay at the Finca.
There a wide variety of activities on offer within the grounds of the ranch, perfect for families and sure to keep the most active children and adults challenged and entertained.
The ranch is home to over 50 expertly-trained, friendly ponies and the perfect place for complete beginners to learn to ride for the first time and quickly build your confidence. Our riding lessons last for roughly an hour giving you plenty of time in the saddle with our experts.
Enjoy guided hacks with our instructors in the surrounding countryside suitable to all levels of rider. With rivers, mountains and beaches all part of the surrounding landscape, there is plenty to explore on horseback from your base at Polo Valley. Why not enjoy a night of star gazing by your firepit and stay in one of our spacious glamping tents?
The Guesthouse has its own private swimming pool and tranquil garden for clients to enjoy. It’s the perfect peaceful spot to relax and soak up the Andalucian sun.
With stunning scenery, an abundance of wildlife and of course the beauty of the ponies, Polo Valley is a popular spot for sketching and painting and we can organise private painting classes for those who enjoy this relaxing past-time.

This Chiringuito (beach bar) comes highly recommended by the local Sotogrande crowd and serves up delicious barbeque food and Spanish Sangria. It provides a relaxed child-friendly atmosphere in the day and later at night plays host to vibrant music at DJs. There are also various other Chiringuitos along the Sotogrande beach stretch to choose from.
The Marina is the beating heart of Sotogrande. Charter a boat at Club Maritimo or dine at the Hairy Lemon for some family-friendly tapas. For slightly more upscale dining, head to its sister restaurant, The Lemon, next door. Valderrama is a must play course for fans of the game, one of the best-known golf clubs in the world and host of the 1997 Ryder Cup. Open on Sundays from 10.00am until 3.00pm and 7.00pm until midnight on Wednesdays, the El Mercando De Levante Flea Market can be found at the Sotogrande Marina with local and artisanal products on offer and is beloved by locals and tourists alike.

Visit the exclusive inland lagoon at La Reserva Club de Sotogrande where an array of activities are on offer. There is a sumptuous spa, water sports on the lagoon, tennis, padel and volleyball, kids camp, restaurants and bars and of course, plenty of sunbeds to relax on. The lagoon is a great place to spend a day for the whole family.
The marina is home to a host of water sports and particularly popular is sailing. You can hire a boat as a family for an afternoon or the whole day, exploring the local coastline, beaches and bays.
Cruise around Sotogrande in a renovated Mini Moke and explore the sights of the area. The Jolly Mile offers a fleet of classic Mini Mokes for hire; take one out on your own or book one of their fun experiences.
Another exciting way to explore the area, you can hire a segway from local shop, Spot Segway, which also offers electric bikes, surfboards, paddleboards, bicycles and longboards.
Villa Padierna is an elegant sanctuary surrounded by three golf courses, a tranquil lake, Roman amphitheatre and more than 1,200 original works of art. Located just to the south of Sotogrande, this village has tumbling narrow streets of whitewashed house and has maintained its quintessential Andalucian atmosphere. San Roque is perfect for an evening adventure to explore local shops, bars and restaurants and its fascinating history, with one of the oldest bullrings in Andalucia.
Head to Jerez for a taste of Sherry and Flamenco dancing. This ancient city is a great day trip from Sotogrande and is home to tours of bodegas and cellars hosting sherry tastings.
Located 1 hour from Polo Valley, Tarifa is a popular destination for wind sports due to its exposure to the prevailing ponente and levante winds. Between birdwatching, kitesurfing, windsurfing surfing and the ancient architecture, there is plenty to do.
An 1 ½ hour trip from Polo Valley to Ronda will reward you with delightful views and Andalucia’s first bull ring which is open for tours. Ronda is also famed for its iconic bridge spanning the deep gorge that the town is set above.
Flashier than Sotogrande, Marbella and Puerto Banus have a lovely promenade along the beachfront, many shops restaurants and places to go out, as well as a very pretty old town.
