During your fourteen day adventure holiday to Costa Rica you can experience primordial cloudforests, volcanoes, wild jungle canals, beautiful beaches and stunning hotels and lodges. You’ll visit both Pacific and Atlantic coasts, Tortuguero National Park, famous for its rare sea turtle nesting sites, and venture into the land of the jaguar, the monkey and the sloth.
On arrival into picturesque San Jose, you will be greeted by your driver who’ll take you to your hotel. The remainder of your afternoon and evening is free for you to relax before your adventure starts the following morning. You’ll get your first glimpses of Costa Rican wildlife in Tortuguero National Park during your canal boat transfer to Tortuguero to arrive at your jungle lodge.
Visit the stunning locations of Poas Volcano and La Paz waterfall garden, home to a small zoo, before travelling to Arenal. There you can kayak on the lake, embark on a canopy tour and ride zip lines. You can then stay at Rio Perdido Hotel which is hidden away on a private nature reserve in Guanacaste. For the next few days you have the opportunity to explore your beautiful surroundings via raft, mountain bike or on foot. Leaving the forest you’ll transfer south along the Pacific Coast to Casa Corcovado – a beautiful jungle retreat which can only be accessed by a two-hour riverboat ride.
Spend your final days in Costa Rica relaxing by the pool or on the beach surrounded by stunning views. For the more active, enjoy snorkelling, surfing and stand up paddleboarding. The final morning you will transfer by road back to San Jose in time for your flight home.

This challenging adventure will be one of the highlights of your trip. You will start by tackling a small descent first to build your confidence. The first waterfall gives you a taste but once you have had a few goes, you will be tackling the big ones, of course guided by the highly experienced guides.
