In-Resort Services
FROM OUR EXPERIENCED RESORT TEAMSYou will be fully supported throughout your holiday by our experienced resort team. They will oversee everything from the moment you arrive in the resort to the moment you leave at the end of your holiday. Led by your resort manager, our teams also include drivers, ski hosts and children’s club assistants. Contact details for your resort manager and team members will be confirmed before your holiday and on arrival.
Our Powder Byrne resort shuttle service will be available for transport to and from the slopes when required. By evening our drivers are available on request until 9.30pm for shuttles around resort to allow you to enjoy the range of restaurants and bars available. Shuttle service timings may vary on our mid-week Family Day. Our resort team will advise accordingly.
We offer complimentary on-piste ski guiding exclusively for our adult clients. Our handpicked ski guides will show you around the mountain, help find the best runs on the day and book the best mountain lunch spots, allowing you to leave your piste maps unused. The minimum ski standard for guiding is confident blue run skier (Powder Byrne level 3). The maximum in a group is no more than 10 adults and the groups are often between 6 – 8 people. Each group is arranged according to ski ability. You do not need to pre-book our guiding service and can decide on a daily basis whether you wish to join.
You will receive a personal visit in the evenings from a member of our Powder Byrne team at a time convenient to you. During this visit, you can talk through your arrangements for the following day and request anything you need booked. You will also receive feedback on your children’s day in our programmes, if applicable.
We are able to request babysitting for your holiday. We recommend letting us know your requirements as soon as you can pre-travel due to high demand during peak travel periods.
Powder Byrne babysitting rates are €18 per hour (€23 per hour on New Year’s Eve), plus the cost of a taxi for babysitting that finishes after 9.30pm.
If a babysitter is to be shared between two families, the amount charged will be time and a half and the children must be cared for in one room. Payment is to be made in cash directly to the babysitter on the same evening.
Cancellation is to be made 24 hours in advance; otherwise there will be a charge equivalent to 1 hour. In the interest of safety, Powder Byrne do not recommend leaving children unattended in the hotel rooms at any time.
Where possible we use Powder Byrne staff to babysit, however this cannot be guaranteed. In the event that a Powder Byrne babysitter is not available we will try to assist by arranging a local babysitter. Costs will vary and are not controlled by Powder Byrne.
Your babysitting arrangements will be fully confirmed on arrival into resort.
