WINTER SEASON JOBS
“This team was the best we have experienced; absolutely terrific! Nothing was too much trouble, and they got things done quickly, efficiently and with real warmth. Full marks.”
APPLY FOR WINTER POSITIONS
We leave the hotel staffing to the local professionals, but recruit staff to provide those little extras that make the difference to the Powder Byrne experience: private airport transfers, exclusive childcare facilities, ski guiding and an extremely high level of personal service.
Powder Byrne annually recruits over 200 staff, including full season positions and peak week positions (during the school holidays), for those who cannot commit to a whole season. If you are someone who is capable of working long hours and gets satisfaction from providing a high level of service then you may be suited to joining our highly motivated resort teams.
Competition is fierce for all our peak week and full season winter positions, with a very high standard of applicants, as well as a large number of staff returning for another season, a testament to working for a company that values its staff.
Winter 2020/21 roles are now open for applications and you can expect to hear from our HR team in August. Thank you for your understanding in these exceptional circumstances.

SUPPORT
At Powder Byrne, attention to detail and a personal service is what we do best. With a highly experienced London-based logistics department, dedicated to supporting our resort-based teams, Powder Byrne has gained a reputation for being THE Company to work for in Winter Season Jobs.
You’ll find we have a personal approach, offer daily support and a 24-hour emergency phone line, ensuring our resort teams have all the back up they need.
We also throw the best season-end parties!
TRAINING
All our staff are fully trained so that once in resort they can deliver our product to the highest standard possible. All aspects of resort work and customer service are covered, as well as role-specific training for each of our winter season jobs such as ski guiding, driving assessments and child safety.
Full season staff go through a week’s intensive course in Switzerland. This is followed by a further familiarisation period in their specific resort locations.
For staff working for shorter periods during the peak weeks, training is given in London prior to departure and then the Resort Manager adds further practical training in-resort.
