Enjoy glistening winter days in the high altitude valley of Lenzerheide. Little known in Britain, this resort enjoys double helpings of sun and endless slopes to enjoy.
Famously known locally as Switzerland's diamond in the snow, the resort of Lenzerheide is situated in a snow-clad powder bowl surrounded by a mountain panorama - guests will not be disappointed by the breathtaking scenery Lenzerheide offers. Little known outside Switzerland, Lenzerheide's empty pistes feel as if they were groomed especially for you, providing each skier in your party with a personal experience. Cruise through trees and immerse yourself in Lenzerheide's alpine culture as you glide past Michelin starred mountain restaurants, chalets and bars. Ed Leigh, presenter of BBC Ski Sunday, was quoted in the Financial Times' Pink Snow edition in October 2013 saying, "I've taken the opportunity to explore some lesser-known resorts. The most recent gem I've found is Lenzerheide in Switzerland. It has terrain to suit every skier and plenty of altitude to ensure fresh snow."

Lenzerheide is the perfect place for little ones to learn or improve their skiing in our Yeti programme, and older children and teens will have a wonderful time honing their skills on the slopes in SnoZone. With a very good nursery slope area complete with magic carpets and tow ropes, your little ones are sure to have a ball. Our clients thrive off the 'Sanaspans' run as it is a 1500 vertical meter off-piste descent from the top of 'Rothorn' (2865m) all the way down to 'Lenzerheide' (1475m). When the conditions are right it means you can ski all day long in fresh powder. A run known very well by the locals is called the 'speed' which has everything to offer from long wide flatter sections for carving to steeper parts for picking up speed.
The resort has recently seen a dramatic improvement in its ski terrain with the 1.7km double-track cable car uniting it with the resort of Arosa, in the adjacent valley to the north. The cable car, with a capacity of 150 skiers, connects the Hornli of Arosa with the Urdenfurggli in Lenzerheide. Recent developments also include two six man chairs to form a new link from Heimberg to Urdenfurggli via Motta, transforming both resorts and catapulting them into the top 10 Swiss ski areas with a fully linked domain of 42 lifts and 225km of pistes, at an altitude of 1,230-2,865m.
