A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A YETI PRIMER
Yeti Primer is our unique programme designed for your little ones to experience their first exciting steps on skis. Offering a gentle introduction to skiing and the perfect preparation for our Yeti programme, with two hours of instruction in the mornings and afternoons spent playing games in the snow and in our pb crèche.
THEIR FIRST STEPS ON SKIS
Our Powder Byrne teams work alongside our qualified ski instructors, who are all experienced in teaching young children to ski for the first time. We know that learning to ski can be tiring for little ones and the equipment can be a little strange and daunting, so our ski instructors and Yeti Primer teams use playful aides to help make the learning experience fun and enjoyable for all our Yeti Primers.
Feedback from our clients confirms that the balance between time on the slopes and time in the pb crèche is the perfect amount. However, there is the flexibility to add further private instruction should you wish. We’ll ensure your child takes to their new sport and loves their first experience on skis, which is essential for building confidence for future trips and a great preparation for joining the older Yetis in the years to come.
Yeti Primer operates six days per week, with ski instruction on five mornings. The rest of the time is spent in and around the pb crèche. Our pb crèche is open between 8:30am and 4pm six days a week during the main school holiday weeks, and for selected weeks of the season outside of school holidays, it opens at 8:30am and closes at 4:30pm. The programme costs from £750 per week, excluding meals and prices may vary between resorts.
