Summer Children’s Club Manager

This is a diverse and exciting role, which involves the help of the Children’s Club Assistants’ to plan and run a weekly programme of activities, including sport, day excursions, games and creative play: a truly rewarding experience!

Our premier children’s clubs are the heart of a Powder Byrne holiday. Children partake in an adventure packed week with us, allowing parents’ time to truly relax and unwind. If you are looking for an action filled summer abroad, working with children in a beautiful location then this may be the role for you.

As a Children’s Club Manager you will be responsible for managing either The Scallywags Club, The Zone or The Adventure Academy in one of our exclusive summer resorts. Our Scallywags Club runs for children aged 4-8 years, The Zone caters for slightly older children aged 8-12 and The Adventure Academy is for our oldest children aged 12+.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the planning and running of our Children’s Club
  • Assisting with daily tennis and swimming sessions, with a focus on developing children’s skills and confidence
  • Organising Water Sports, running evening activity sessions and supervising suppers
  • Accompanying children on local excursions
  • Managing the Children’s Club assistant
  • Managing your club budget and expenses including any paperwork involved
  • Carrying out relevant risk assessments for each activity and excursion
  • Assisting the Resort Manager with delivery of Powder Byrne product in resort
Requirements:
  • Childcare experience (children aged between 4 to 14 years) and relevant resort experience
  • Proven customer service experience, excellent customer care skills and communication skills
  • Adaptable, resourceful, patient and diplomatic team player with excellent organisational skills
  • A sports coaching or sports qualification (desirable)
  • Good understanding of the safety issues involved with supervising children.
  • Minimum age 21
  • Full Clean Driving Licence

Additionally, you could earn £150* by referring a Resort Driver who completes a successful contract with Powder Byrne. Terms and conditions apply.

All you need to do:

  • Introduce a new friend via email, or your friend must mention that you have referred them.
  • Your friend must be offered and accept a role with Powder Byrne.
  • Your friend must complete their training and contract to the Powder Byrne standard.
  • You will receive your reward at the end of the season.

Terms, Conditions, Eligibility & Exclusions apply: Only applies to new referees unknown to Powder Byrne. A referee can only be referred by one person and must work for Powder Byrne within 6 months of being referred. Referrers must have worked for Powder Byrne previously. Powder Byrne decides what the ‘Powder Byrne standard’ is. Excludes anyone working in the Powder Byrne office roles. Powder Byrne can amend the terms, conditions, eligibility and exclusions at any time, including withdrawing this offer.
