Resort Manager

This role is based in the London office, travelling out to the resort during the Peak Weeks.

This is one of the most demanding, challenging yet rewarding jobs in the Alps! We are looking for professional, dedicated and highly motivated individuals to lead from the front in all aspects of resort life. As a Resort Manager, you are key to making sure the exceptional service that we are renowned for is successfully delivered in our resorts. This is a very challenging position, requiring solid leadership and excellent people and logistical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively managing the day to day running of the resort and delivering the highest standard of customer service
  • Working alongside the Assistant Resort Manager and locally run hotels and ski schools to deliver the Powder Byrne product
  • Training and managing the Powder Byrne resort team and Assistant Resort Managers and staff motivation
  • Client concierge and pre-travel client requirements, as well as ski guiding and airport transfers if required
  • Liaising locally on behalf on Powder Byrne guests, including hotels, restaurants and transport authorities
  • Carrying out daily correspondence relating to administration (e.g. expenses, client payment forms, operational feedback)
  • Carrying out all planning and logistics for every peak week alongside the Delivery Team and Assistant Resort Manager
  • Assisting with Client Concierge and any pre-travel client requirements
Requirements:
  • Previous experience of managing a successful resort team
  • A team player with a professional and positive attitude
  • Full Clean Driving Licence
  • Excellent ski ability (minimum 20 weeks)
  • Excellent organisation, guest relations and customer service skills
  • A good communicator who is adaptable resourceful, patient and diplomatic
  • Ability to speak German (Desirable, not essential)
  • UK or EU Passport
  • Appropriate number of Schengen Area (EU) travel allocation days to complete contracted dates (UK passport holders can only travel to the area for 90 days every 180 days)
Package:

  • Your friend must be offered and accept a role with Powder Byrne.
  • Your friend must complete their training and contract to the Powder Byrne standard.
