FROM OUR EXPERIENCED RESORT TEAMSYou will be fully supported throughout your holiday by our experienced resort team. They will oversee everything from the moment you arrive in the resort to the moment you leave at the end of your holiday. Led by your resort manager, our teams also include drivers, ski hosts and children’s club assistants. Contact details for your resort manager and team members will be confirmed before your holiday and on arrival.
Our Powder Byrne resort shuttle service will be available for transport to and from the slopes when required. By evening our drivers are available on request until 9.30pm for shuttles around resort to allow you to enjoy the range of restaurants and bars available. Shuttle service timings may vary on our mid-week Family Day. Our resort team will advise accordingly.
We offer complimentary on-piste ski guiding exclusively for our adult clients. Our handpicked ski guides will show you around the mountain, help find the best runs on the day and book the best mountain lunch spots, allowing you to leave your piste maps unused. The minimum ski standard for guiding is confident blue run skier (Powder Byrne level 3). The maximum in a group is no more than 10 adults and the groups are often between 6 – 8 people. Each group is arranged according to ski ability. You do not need to pre-book our guiding service and can decide on a daily basis whether you wish to join.
You will receive a personal visit in the evenings from a member of our Powder Byrne team at a time convenient to you. During this visit, you can talk through your arrangements for the following day and request anything you need booked. You will also receive feedback on your children’s day in our programmes, if applicable.
We are able to request babysitting for your holiday. We recommend letting us know your requirements as soon as you can pre-travel due to high demand during peak travel periods.
Powder Byrne babysitting rates are 20 CHF per hour in Switzerland (25 CHF per hour on New Year’s Eve), plus the cost of a taxi for babysitting that finishes after 9.30pm.
If a babysitter is to be shared between two families, the amount charged will be time and a half and the children must be cared for in one room. Payment is to be made in cash directly to the babysitter on the same evening.
Cancellation is to be made 24 hours in advance; otherwise there will be a charge equivalent to 1 hour. In the interest of safety, Powder Byrne do not recommend leaving children unattended in the hotel rooms at any time.
Where possible we use Powder Byrne staff to babysit, however this cannot be guaranteed. In the event that a Powder Byrne babysitter is not available we will try to assist by arranging a local babysitter. Costs will vary and are not controlled by Powder Byrne.
Your babysitting arrangements will be fully confirmed on arrival into resort.

Mountain Dining
GASTRONOMIC EXPERIENCES ON THE MOUNTAINOur recommended restaurants include restaurants in both Lenzerheide and Arosa. Both resorts are linked and accessible for skiers. In peak season restaurants fill up fast, so we recommend booking restaurants in advance. Please contact the client concierge team for restaurant reservations or for further restaurant recommendations.
Motta Hütte is one of the best restaurants on the mountain and it does get busy for this reason. Motta offers delicious burgers, schnitzels & meat platters and has an extensive wine list. It is easy to find as it is at the top of the Motta chair.
Scharmoin is located at the mid-station of the Rothorn cable car and offers a grill restaurant upstairs and a self-service downstairs. Everything from bison to bratwurst is served here. Easy accessibility on foot makes this a favourite for non-skiers and for family day.
Piz Scalottas is located at the top of the Scalottas lift and has very good views on a clear day. The menu is very varied: our recommendations are the Rosti and their large selection of burgers.
Crest’ Ota is a friendly and traditional restaurant that serves fantastic cheese fondue, sumptuous meats, rosti specialities and pasta dishes.
Hörnlihütte is a typical mountain restaurant located at the top of the Hornli express ski lift with views over Arosa and towards Lenzerheide. It serves excellent meat dishes with a superb sun terrace.
Village Dining
GASTRONOMIC EXPERIENCES IN LENZERHEIDE VILLAGEPlease note that some restaurants require credit card details to confirm the booking and operate strict cancellation policies.
Guarda Val, a Michelin starred, fine dining restaurant that serves beautiful food paired with an extensive selection of wines from their wine cellar. Stunning views add to the atmosphere and make Guarda Val a must visit.
La Patata specialises in really high quality meat dishes, often served with (as the name suggests) excellent and well-prepared potato side dishes. The restaurant has an impressive wine cellar all to be enjoyed in a warm, cosy and informal atmosphere.
Heid-Stübli in the Hotel Lenzerhorn has a warm, cosy atmosphere and serves Swiss specialities and delicious pizzas from the wood fired oven. There are two sittings between 6pm and 7:45pm and 8:15pm onwards.
Revier “Grill & Chill” is a relaxed restaurant serving steak, ribs, burgers and chicken and a fantastic selection of world beers. Located just a 2-minute walk from the Priva Alpine Lodge.
