Yala National Park is world-renowned for it's dense Leopard population. Wild Coast Lodge's unique design blends into it's surroundings, immersing guests in the rich biodiversity of Sri Lanka. With watering holes dotted around the Lodge, you don't even need to leave the resort to witness an abundance of wildlife.
The uniquely shaped tents, labelled 'cocoons' or 'urchins' represent five star lodgings under canvas. Colonial and contemporary stylings are fused together to create luxury surroundings.
Cocoon Pool Suites
Four cocoon suites with king size beds, located in the seclusion of the beachfront, also have their own private plunge pools.
Yala National Park
Sri Lanka's second biggest national park is located a mere 10 minute drive away, while viewing platforms overlooking local watering holes allow an insight into the natural surroundings of the lodge.
Gourmet Safari Cuisine
The cuisine takes inspiration from local food with a modern twist. Dinner can be served fresh from the tandoori oven and is a unique affair based on the freshness of the local produce.
Conservation and the Environment
The lodge is under the process of building a conservation centre, and uses recycled ocean water to supply the watering holes. Organic waste is composted on site.
