Peru was once part of the great Incan Empire and later the major vice-royalty of the Spanish South America. Travel to the Sacred Valley of the Incas near the town of Pisac where you can cycle around the remains of the ancient Incan Empire.
On arrival at Cusco airport you will be greeted by your transfer guide who will take you to your hotel in the Sacred Valley for the night.
DAY 2 - 4
The town of Urubamba lies on the flat valley floor in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. It is home to local pottery workshops, the eponymous river and is a fantastic base for many hiking and biking excursions or tours to the outlying ruins.

Start with an early transfer to catch the train toward Machu Picchu. Visit the recently restored ruins of Chachabamba before gradually ascending though tropical cloud forest up toward the base of Winay Wayna.
DAY 9 - 10
CUSCO CITY TOUR
Visit Cusco's stunning ruin, the extensive Sacsayhuaman then the San Cristobal church built on top of Inca Mano Capac's Palace and see the fantastic views of Cusco.
