The Classic India Itinerary takes a look at some of India's most treasured and infamous landmarks, giving you and your family the ultimate adventure and an amazing insight into the rich culture of India.
Arrival In New Dehli
On your first day, you will arrive in New Dehli and will be transferred from the Airport directly to your hotel. You can spend the afternoon and evening in the hotel and relax with the option to explore the area and enjoy high tea at the Haveli Dharampura.
New and Old Dehli
Go and experience the character of Old Dehli and take in the charm of New Dehli. Explore various gardens, parks and street food markets and admire the many temples and historic sites to be seen in this breathtaking location.
The next few days will be spent in the stunning Jaipur; home to two UNESCO World Heritage sites: Jantar Mantar, which features the world’s largest sundial, and Amer Fort, an impressive fortified city next to the Maota Lake. In the evening, you could watch a movie at Indias most famous cinema, the Raj Mandir Movie Theater.
The next stop on your tour will be Agra, where you'll spend the following two nights. Agra is particularly famous for two sites: The Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal. These two World Heritage sites are close enough together that you'll be able to visit both on the same day. Spend the evening watching "Mohabbat the Taj" show, a romantic love story of the Emperor who built the Taj Mahal and his wife, live performed by over 80 artists.
The penultimate destination of your trip to India will be Khajuraho. Home to a plethora of ancient temples, this is the perfect location for sightseeing and taking in some of the historic cultures. Once you've had your fill of sightseeing for the day you will travel to Varanasi, where you'll experience the special Hindu ritual of worship; Aarti.
New Dehli & Home
On your last full day, you'll travel back to Dehli, where you can enjoy your last evening in India with a wholesome meal at a restaurant of your choice before flying home the next day.
