Northern Lights Discovery

Often considered a modern day wonder of the world, spectators travel from all over the world to witness the elusive and inspiring Northern Lights. Experience Iceland and the Northern Lights in one magical week with our Northern Lights Explorer Discovery adventure.

Your Iceland adventure will start at the world-renowned blue lagoon. This unique spa features an outdoor lagoon filled with geothermal hot water whose active ingredients (namely: natural mineral salts, white silica and blue-green algae) are known for providing visitors with an unforgettable bathing experience.

During this trip you’ll visit the charming local town of Vík í Mýrdal and two of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls; Seljalandsfoss and Skógarfoss. The next stop will be Dyrhólaey; a 120-metre high rock inhabited by numerous types of birds, including puffins. The final landmark visit will be the Sólheimajökull glacier tongue where you will get the chance to observe this amazing natural sight.

Explore the breathtaking North of Snæfellsnes peninsula, home of Snaefellsjökull glacier before visiting Grundarfjörður, a charming village with breathtaking views toward Kirkjufell, one of Iceland’s most iconic mountains. You’ll stop at picturesque waterfalls Grundarfoss and Kirkjufellsfoss.  Finally, you’ll travel on to the local fishing villages of Ólafsvík, Rif and Hellissandur.

Today, you will drive inland from Hotel Húsafell to reach the lava-cave Viðgelmir. You’ll then be treated to guided walk inside the Víðgelmir lava tube, this activity is very family friendly with brand new walkways making the tour spacious, well-lit and easily accessible for all. Following this you’ll be driven back to Reykjavik with the opportunity for more activities on the way.

Experience one of Iceland’s most astounding natural phenomena’s and most humbling sights – The Northern Lights. You’ll enjoy a private tour as your guide takes you to the best view points for this incredible display, detailing the events behind the lights and ensuring an unforgettable night.

Whale Watching & Mountain Safari

Known as one of the best whale watching destinations, Iceland offers up a spectacular display in Reykjavik of minke whales, white-beaked dolphins, harbour porpoises and the humpback whale. The afternoon will be spent on a "Mountain Safari" quad biking around the Reykjavik countryside and to mountaintops for panoramic views of Iceland.

Glacier Hike Private Tour

Here is your chance to visit a glacier and not just any glacier; this trip will take you to the frozen glacial tongue that is Sólheimajökull. It is a magnificent phenomenon, a rugged, raw and ever changing hub of ancient frozen water. You'll explore the crevasse riddled outlet glacier with its amazing ice formations, sinkholes and jagged ridges accompanied by an experienced glacier guide.
