Powder Byrne Schools 6 Nations Champions 2013



The 3rd annual Powder Byrne Schools 6 Nations Tournament kicked off on Friday 15th March and continued through to the Saturday. The tournament saw 10 schools from across Europe battle it out once again to take home the coveted Powder Byrne Schools Six Nations trophy. 

The international final saw England's St Pauls take on the French school of Lycee de Borda Dax. After a gruelling match it was St Pauls who took the title with a 15-5 victory. Other teams to take home silverware were RGS Guildford, winning the plate, Lycee Comte de Foix picking up the John Scott Sportsmanship Award and Gaetan Martinez of Lycee de Borda Dax who was awarded with Player of the Tournament.

Powder Byrne Schools 6 Nations 2012



The 2nd Powder Byrne Schools 6 Nations Tournament kicked off on Friday 16th March 2012, welcoming selected rugby schools from across the 6 nations, each competing for the coveted title of 2012 Champions. 

Following the successful inaugural tournament in 2011 won by Eton College in a thrilling final against St Paul's School, this years event has grown in size thanks to the addition of a Scottish qualifier event hosted by Fettes College, Edinburgh.   We congratulate the winners of the Scottish event, Loretto School, who took the coveted title over a freezing February weekend.
