Festive Fun

There's nothing quite like Christmas in the Alps and with events, activities and plenty of Christmas cheer, you're sure to have the time of your life.

The Albona Nova in Zurs puts on a very warm welcome for festive guests with a packed programme of events and celebration.

The week before Christmas kicks off on Sunday 15th December with a Christmas market with kids punch to get everyone in the mood before the activities begin! Go horse sledging to Zug on the Monday or take part in the big snowman building contest on the Tuesday. All the family will love tobogganing on Wednesday 18th December with a day off to rest and relax (or ski!) on Thursday. Friday 20th December sees guests taking part in a torch walk complete with hot chocolate to find the elusive Santa!

With no shortage of things to do over Christmas itself, guests will love the big Christmas party in the hotel lobby on Christmas Eve, complete with Christmas tree and a special programme of events for the kids before the Gala Dinner.

Santa comes to Zurs on the 25th with Christmas Lunch on the slopes with Santa on Skis!

Guests at the Arlberghaus in Zurs are in for a treat this Christmas and New Year's!

Events are kicked off with a traditional Austrian Christmas ceremony on the 24th December. You'll start with a cocktail and Christmas cookies before singing carols around the tree in both English and German followed by a Gala Dinner and a traditional midnight mass for those interested.

Start your new year off the right way with a champagne cocktail, oysters and a live band at the hotel lobby on New Year's Eve followed by a Gala Dinner and dance. Fireworks at midnight are followed by the Austrian tradition of presenting a New Year's pig for good luck. Guests are then invited to enjoy a late snack and more music and dancing until the early hours.

On New Year's day late risers are treated to a brunch before further fireworks and music that evening.
