Children's Skiing

Our inspirational childcare teams deliver a unique service, ensuring that every child in our care gets the attention and support they need to enjoy their family skiing holiday. From tots to teens, we have developed a range of award-winning ski programmes that your kids will adore, developing their confidence and skills in a safe and exciting environment.

pb crèche (4 months to 3 years)

When it’s time for parents to head out onto the slopes there’s nowhere better to leave your little ones than in our pb crèches. You’ll be free to explore your resort's full potential safe in the knowledge that your babies and toddlers are happy and having buckets of fun.

Our Crèches

Our crèches are packed with a huge selection of toys, books and games to keep even the most active minds entertained. Our tailor made programmes are designed by our in resort nannies, so they have the flexibility to ensure that all children in their care, from infants to tots, are happy and entertained.

Their Home From Home

Our aim is to create a home from home environment in which your little one can quickly settle; we achieve this by asking you to provide detailed information pre-travel about routines, meal times and dietary requirements, so we can tailor our care to your child's needs. Programmes are designed to mix indoor and outdoor play so even the smallest of travellers get a chance to experience the fun of the snow. With a 1:3 nanny to child ratio, we're able to ensure that all age groups are catered for.

Our Qualified Staff

You'll no doubt have questions, which is why you'll be able to speak to your Crèche Manager before you travel to answer queries or concerns. We also offer a pre-purchase service for all sorts of essentials including nappies, wipes and formula, so just let us know what you need and it will be waiting for you in your room. Our Crèche Managers are fully qualified NNEB/CACHE (or equivalent) nursery nurses with extensive experience looking after babies and toddlers both in the UK and abroad.

It offers a gentle introduction to skiing, and the perfect preparation for our Yeti programme, with two hours of instruction in the mornings and the afternoon spent in our pb crèche.

Our Qualified Instructors

Our ski instructors are fully qualified and experienced in working with young children, and our Yeti Primer staff are also with the children at all times, providing you with peace of mind and them a fantastic adult to child ratio.

Can't Get Enough?

Feedback from our clients confirms that the balance of time on the slopes and time in the crèche is ideal; however, there is the flexibility to add further private instruction in the afternoon on selected days for eager powder hounds, or you might prefer to head off on a tobogganing adventure? We'll ensure your child takes to their new sport and loves their first experience on skis, which is essential for building confidence for future trips and a great preparation for joining the older Yetis the following year.

PB Tutoring Programme

Why In-Resort Tutoring?

We're thrilled to launch our brand new in-resort tutoring programme which we have developed alongside preeminent London tutoring agency, Bonas MacFarlane. Available at select resorts during Easter, this service has been developed for clients who have children in exam years and who otherwise may be wary of traveling before key exam periods. Our PB Tutoring Programme aims to take those fears away by providing families with the opportunity to experience an additional service for their children who are studying for exams: professional tutoring sessions each morning, allowing your kids down time for skiing or other activities and a break from the books in the afternoon.

The Programme

  • You're able to enjoy a family holiday without worrying about your child’s upcoming exams.
  • You have the opportunity to speak to your child's tutor prior to travel to put your mind at ease and cover any questions or areas of concern you may have.
  • After every session your child's tutor will write a report on his or her progress and feed this back to you to ensure you are aware of all areas being covered, your child's progression and any areas of concern the tutor has.
  • In many cases, your child can carry on with tuition once they are back from holiday in your home.
  • All mentoring is highly individual and discreet and exclusive to Powder Byrne clients in resort.
  • Your child can either have group or private tutoring.

The Finer Details

Group tutoring is available in a 10 hours weekly programme in Flims over Christmas and February Half Term. The programme costs £450 per week and is available for up to 6 students at a time.

Private Tutoring is available 6 days per week, up to 6 hours a day and costs £1,280 per week plus accommodation on half board, flights and transfers for the tutor.
