LAAX is collectively made up of the villages of Flims, Laax and Falera in the Graubünden region of Switzerland, high on a sunny plateau above the Rhine gorge.
Laax has been a ski resort since 1962 when the Vorab glacier was first developed and is little known outside Switzerland, which is surprising bearing in mind its credentials. It has one of the largest and most snow sure ski areas in Switzerland, a great lift system, quiet wellmaintained slopes (most are above 2000 m) and 4 snow parks.
As well as the fantastic skiing there is plenty to do for all the family off the slopes. Activities such as ice-skating, curling and paragliding are all on offer as are some excellent restaurants.
Being part of our Yeti or SnoZone programmes means youngsters will have a fabulous time on the slopes and make some fantastic new friends along the way. Teens will love picking up tips and exploring the mountain area in our complimentary FreeZone programme this February half term and Easter.
