This Air & Space adventure begins the moment you touch down in the capital of Muscat and are whisked away to your first desert camp in 4 x 4s. Lunch is served en-route by a crystal clear pool, perfect for a refreshing dip, giving you time to relax into your desert surroundings and get your first hit of Omani cuture. Upon reaching the camp by sundown you'll enjoy a night in comfortable & chic 'safari' style tents.
Day 2 sees the adventure step up a level and you get to tailor the trip to suit your family's requirements. For those more adventurous there are some high adrenaline options and equally enjoyable sedate options for those who want to take things a little bit easier. Back to camp for a well earned rest.
The adventure continues as you visit a local Bedouin family and enjoy camel rides and more 4 x 4 action, this time with you at the wheel! Arriving at the second of the camps, you'll spend the next day or so relaxing on the beach, fishing, snorkelling to name but a few of the activities on offer.
Into the fifth day and you'll wind your way north to the 5 star Shangri La's Barr Al Jissah Resort for some rest and recuperation. Be sure to check out the spa here. It's the most extensive and well-appointed private spa in Oman. Another day or two, enjoying the extensive facilities on offer for all the family and your Air and Space adventure comes to a close.

Desert Camp 1 Options:
The second day involves either a mini adventure more off the beaten track involving some scrambling and walking in the steep riverbeds or alternatively for a less physical option, the 4 x 4s are on hand to transport you to Wadi Bani Khalid to the natural pools for a spot of swimming.
Day three also starts with some options - either climb to the top of one of the mighty sandunes to enjoy a morning coffee or alternatively take it easy, relaxing in the luxury of the camp.

Beachside Desert Camp 2 Options:
At the beachside Bar Al Hickman, where you will spend 2 nights, you can choose from a host of activities including; fishing, beach driving, snorkelling, and trips to the local towns nearby.
