Myanmar (Burma)

Situated on the most westerly point of South East Asian landmass, Myanmar is one of the most physically diverse and beautiful countries in the region, if not the world. From its sublime landscapes to its rich history, its serene people to its deeply Buddhist culture, it is a destination like no other and a remarkable country to visit.

Highlights

Myanmar is beautiful and largely untouched and offers the adventurous family an unforgettable experience. This wonderful country is full of genuine hospitality and friendly locals just waiting to show you around. Our expert handpicked guides will be on hand from start to finish to make sure you have the most memorable time in this memorable country.

Surrounded by India, Bangladesh, China, Laos, and Thailand, Myanmar has a rich diversity of ecosystems arising largely from its unusual ecological diversity. With approximately 7,000 species of plant life, 300 mammal species, 300 reptiles species, and approximately 100 bird species, there really is a lot of wildlife to keep your eye out for. Top that off with thousands of traditional temples from the smallest shrines to the biggest and most spectacular monuments and Myanmar is both an environmentally and culturally rich country just waiting to be explored.
