Set out visiting the local sights and sounds that fill this unique city. Take the time to walk around Stanley Park or make your way along the harbour front taking in the views and spotting the
sea planes taking off.
Day 3 - 5
From your hotel take a short transfer to the South terminal of Vancouver Airport, where you will board a float plane or helicopter for the incredible trip over to Vancouver Island and to Sonora Lodge. Sonora Island is the jewel in the crown of this coastal paradise, a quiet escape to unfettered natural beauty and the recreational experience
of a lifetime.
Planes and Trains
After a breathtaking plane ride back to Vancouver, your private driver will take you to the Pacific Central Station where you will board your overnight VIA Rail train bound for Jasper. Experience this Canadian right of passage, the sleeper train, in pure luxury. Enjoy a private en-suite bedroom complete with two bathrooms, two closets and enough beds for the whole family.
Day 7 - 8
When pulling into the station at Jasper you will feel like the first settlers did as this was once the only way Jasper was accessible. Your time in Jasper offers the opportunity to take the mountains on a hike to Mount Edith Cavell or alternatively take some time to relax in the fantastic spa facilities available.
Day 9 - 10
Your drive down to Lake Louise along the Icefields Parkway is breathtaking. Take the time to stop along the way to take pictures of the animals grazing on the side of the road oblivious to the cars driving past. While not take a canoe out on the bright blue waters of the lake or take a guided hike around its beautiful banks.
Day 10 - 13
There's plenty of time to enjoy fly-fishing or horseback riding in the Banff National Park. If that's not enough then there's still time to visit the Banff Gondola, play a round of golf or even spend an evening at the Banff Upper Hot Springs.
