Your Powder Byrne Rockies adventure begins in Vancouver, where a stay at the Fairmont Hotel offers nothing but first class service and luxury. The first few days offer you the chance to take a trip to the traditional Vancouver Island for a magical whale watching experience. Whilst back on the mainland you can take your time to experience everything that the city of Vancouver has to offer.
On the evening of the third day you'll be whisked away to board the VIA Rail overnight train to Jasper, where it's time to leave the city behind and take to the mountains. Watch the breathtaking scenery unfold from the comfort of your luxurious cabin.
You're time in Jasper offers the opportunity to take the mountains on a hike to Mount Edith Cavell or alternatively take some time to relax in the fantastic spa facilities available. The adventure continues on from Jasper where you will visit and explore the famous icefields en route to Lake Emerald, with the chance to enjoy a breathtaking helicopter tour if you wish.
Enjoy you're nights stay in Lake Emerald; experience the lake on foot or alternatively cruise across the lake by canoe. Onwards to Banff. With three nights here, there's plenty of time to enjoy fly-fishing in the Blue Ribbon Trout waters or horse back riding in the Banff National Park. If that's not enough then there's still time to visit the Banff Gondola, play a round of golf or even spend an evening at the Banff Upper Hot Springs.
From Banff you'll journey on to Calgary where our Rockies adventure ends. There will be time to explore the city at your leisure before flying home.
